Mindful Movement vs. Yoga - What’s the Difference?

Mindful movement and yoga are often used interchangeably, but they are not the same thing. While yoga involves a set of physical postures, mindful movement refers to any type of physical activity done with awareness and intention. Unlike yoga, which has a specific set of poses, mindful movement can take many different forms that can include yoga poses as well as walking, tai chi, or even simply stretching, just to name a few. The key difference between the two is that yoga is a specific practice with a defined set of poses and techniques, while mindful movement is a broader concept that can be applied to any type of movement.

How it Works

All of our one on one classes are offered through zoom making it possible for me to partner with clients from all over!

  • Once you sign up for your custom class I will send you a health questionnaire to assess your specific needs and goals for your.

  • We will speak prior to your class to review your goals and address any questions that you may have.

  • I will create a mindful movement class that addresses your unique goals.

  • We will meet using Zoom for your one hour class. Our session will be recorded so that you can continue to return to the sequence for future practice.

  • I will also provide you with a custom workbook that will include your custom sequence to have on hand for continued practice.

  • Email support for answering questions, proving resources and checking in.

Session Pricing

Individual and custom created mindful movement classes are $55 per session.

If you are interested in more than one session a package price can be created.
